We booked Dan and his band for our wedding in August, and we are so glad we did! They were all amazing and kept the party going all night. Dan performed an acoustic set after the wedding breakfast whilst the band were setting up, and it was the perfect way to transition guests from evening to night. How far in advance should we book?
If you are hoping to include live music in your Wales wedding, securing the date early gives you the best choice of performance options. Saturdays during the main wedding season can fill quickly, especially at popular venues across South Wales and the surrounding areas. For weddings taking place sooner, it is still worth getting in touch, as I may have availability and can let you know what could work around your plans.
Can you perform outside as my acoustic wedding singer?
Outdoor live music is a great fit for many Wales weddings, particularly at venues with landscaped gardens, terraces, courtyards and outdoor ceremony areas. Because Welsh weather can change quickly, I will need a suitable covered space such as a gazebo, awning or sheltered terrace to protect the equipment if conditions turn. Do you bring your own equipment and does it require any special electrics?
Yes. I provide a full professional sound system and all the equipment needed for the performance, with the setup adapted to suit your venue and the part of the day I am playing. For wedding venues in Wales, I can confirm any technical requirements in advance so there are no surprises on arrival. All equipment is fully insured and PAT tested, and most venues only need to provide access to a standard power supply. If your venue asks for insurance certificates, PAT documentation or further details beforehand, I can send everything across directly once your booking is in place.
What’s the minimum and maximum time we can hire you for?
For weddings in Wales, live music can be booked as either 2 x 45-minute performances or 2 x 60-minute sets, giving you plenty of flexibility around the timings of the day. You can keep the music focused on one part of the celebration or build a package that moves from relaxed acoustic sets earlier on to more upbeat evening entertainment. Background music between performances and after the final live set can also be included so the atmosphere continues without awkward gaps.
