Wedding Singer Manchester
If you’re planning a wedding in Manchester and you’re looking for a wedding singer who keeps things relaxed, professional and genuinely enjoyable, I’d love to help. I’m Daniel East, providing acoustic wedding entertainment across Manchester, from ceremony singing through to drinks reception sets and evening party music. Manchester venues can be anything from stylish city spaces to large hotels and lively function rooms, and each one needs the music set up and delivered in the right way. The aim is simple: the sound suits the room, the timing fits your schedule, and the atmosphere builds naturally from day to night.
We were absolutely blown away by Dan and Benson’s performance at our wedding! From the ceremony to the drinks reception, their music created the most beautiful atmosphere and truly made the day unforgettable. Their talent, professionalism, and warmth shone through every song, they knew exactly how to set the mood and keep our guests entertained and smiling. So many of our friends and family commented on how incredible the music was! Thank you both, for going above and beyond to make our day so special. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough! Ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party
Most Manchester couples book live music for one part of the day, or combine a few to carry the atmosphere through from ceremony to evening. For the ceremony, live singing adds emotion and makes the entrance, signing and exit feel personal, especially in city venues where the room can feel grand and formal. For the drinks reception, acoustic sets keep things relaxed and sociable while guests mingle, photographs happen and the venue starts to fill, whether you’re in a hotel, a modern venue space or a lively function room. For the wedding breakfast, gentle background music works well as guests arrive and settle in, particularly when timings shift and speeches are spread out. For the evening party, the focus is energy, with guests singing along, the dance floor filling early and a set that keeps Manchester crowds buzzing.
Drinks Reception
For your drinks reception, acoustic sets keep the atmosphere warm and sociable, with recognisable songs guests can enjoy without it taking over.
Wedding Breakfast
For your wedding breakfast, a gentle musical backdrop helps the room feel “alive” as guests arrive, settle, and the meal gets underway, especially if speeches and courses are spread out.
Wedding Ceremony
For your ceremony, live singing adds a real emotional lift. It can be intimate and understated, or more upbeat, depending on your songs and the energy you want as you walk in.
Evening Reception
For the evening, it’s all about energy. You want guests engaged, singing along, and the dance floor filling up early. My evening sets are built to lift the room and keep it there.
We booked Dan and his band for our wedding in August, and we are so glad we did! They were all amazing and kept the party going all night. Dan performed an acoustic set after the wedding breakfast whilst the band were setting up, and it was the perfect way to transition guests from evening to night. Dan and his band also learnt our first dance song, and lots of other requests sent through ahead of the day. Communication was brilliant! The set list was great, but they also listened to requests and engaged with the audience, letting us have a go on the mic. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. They made our evening do so memorable, and we had so many comments from guests about how brilliant they were. Thank you guys!

Wedding Singer FAQS
Can we hear you before booking?
Yes. The videos on the site are the best place to start because they show the real vibe in a wedding setting. If you’re getting married in Manchester and you have any questions after watching, send me your date and venue and I’ll help you work out what fits.
How far in advance should we book?
If live music is a priority, it’s always best to book as early as you can. Popular Manchester wedding dates go quickly, especially in peak season. If your date is coming up soon, it’s still worth getting in touch, as I may have availability.
Can you perform outside as my acoustic wedding singer?
We’re more than happy to perform outside, as long as the weather is suitable. For Manchester weddings, we always recommend having a gazebo or sheltered area available if the forecast is uncertain, so the performance and equipment stay protected. We’ll also need a suitable space to set up and nearby power sockets for the sound equipment.
Do you bring your own equipment and does it require any special electrics?
Yes. We provide a professional sound setup suitable for weddings, and we’ll tell you exactly what we need from your Manchester venue so there are no surprises. We can supply all equipment needed for our performance, and everything is insured and fully PAT tested. Most venues just require standard power, and they may ask for our insurance certificate after you book. We’re happy to liaise with the venue directly or send the documents to you to forward on.
What’s the minimum and maximum time we can hire you for?
You can book us for 2 x 45-minute sets or 2 x 60-minute sets. We can also create daytime and evening packages, depending on what you need. If you’d like us to cover the DJ-style music between sets and after we finish, we can include that too.
How would you describe your wedding singing style?
Our wedding singing style is varied and guest-friendly, with a mix of songs that work across all ages. Weddings usually have everyone from grandparents to grandkids, so we read the room and tailor the music to the crowd in front of us, keeping the atmosphere relaxed early on and lifting the energy when it’s time to celebrate.
Can you learn our first dance or ceremony song?
Often, yes. With enough notice, I can learn a meaningful song that suits an acoustic performance for your Manchester wedding. If your request is better suited to the original recording, I’ll be honest and suggest a strong alternative that still fits the moment.
Can you help me choose the music for our first dance or father-daughter dance?
Yes. If you book us for your evening wedding entertainment, we can sing your first dance and/or father-daughter dance. Tell us the songs you love and the vibe you want, and we’ll help you choose an option that feels right for the moment and works beautifully as a live performance.
What information do you need from us, and how does everything work on the day?
Once you enquire, we’ll ask for your wedding date, venue, and which parts of the day you want covered (ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening). From there, we’ll confirm availability, share clear options and pricing, and once you’re happy you can secure the booking. You’ll receive written confirmation so you know exactly what’s included.
Before the wedding, we’ll agree the rough schedule, set-up requirements, and any venue-specific details. If you’d like extra reassurance, we’re happy to arrange phone calls to talk everything through, including timings, set-up, equipment, and any special requests.
On the day, we arrive and set up our own professional sound equipment. Everything we use is insured and fully PAT tested. Venues often ask for proof of insurance, and we’re happy to send the documents to you or speak to the venue directly. All we typically need is a suitable space to set up and access to power. If your venue has sound restrictions or specific rules, tell us in advance and we’ll work with them.
If you’re planning an outdoor performance, that’s usually fine as long as the setup is protected from rain and strong wind and there’s a safe power supply. We’ll talk through the practicalities with you and the venue.
Weddings rarely run to the minute, so we can usually flex slightly on the day if speeches run late or timings shift, keeping everything smooth and stress-free.
What are some popular wedding venues in Manchester?

Well-known venues in the city include Manchester Hall, The Midland Hotel, King Street Townhouse, The Lowry Hotel, and Hotel Gotham, all offering stylish surroundings and a luxury feel. For something more unique, many couples choose Victoria Warehouse or The Monastery Manchester, both known for their striking architecture and memorable atmosphere.
There are also several excellent venues across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas, including Colshaw Hall, Owen House Wedding Barn, Heaton House Farm, Stock Farm Wedding Barn, and The Ashes Barns. Live wedding music across Manchester
Manchester has a real mix of wedding venues, from city centre spaces to hotels and characterful venues across areas like Didsbury, Chorlton, Salford, Trafford and Stockport. That variety matters, because each room needs a slightly different approach. For smaller, more intimate Manchester venues, solo acoustic singing keeps things warm and close. For larger rooms and livelier receptions, the setup can be shaped to suit the size of the space, the layout, and the atmosphere you want. If you’re not sure what you need yet, just tell me your venue and which parts of the day you want covered, and I’ll recommend the best fit.
