We booked Dan and his band for our wedding in August, and we are so glad we did! They were all amazing and kept the party going all night. Dan performed an acoustic set after the wedding breakfast whilst the band were setting up, and it was the perfect way to transition guests from evening to night. Dan and his band also learnt our first dance song, and lots of other requests sent through ahead of the day. Communication was brilliant! The set list was great, but they also listened to requests and engaged with the audience, letting us have a go on the mic. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. They made our evening do so memorable, and we had so many comments from guests about how brilliant they were. Thank you guys!

How far in advance should we book?
If live music matters to you, securing your date early is always the smartest move. Popular East Midlands wedding dates get snapped up fast, particularly through spring and summer. If your date is closer than you’d like, it’s absolutely worth reaching out, as availability can surprise you.
Can you perform outside as my acoustic wedding singer?
Outdoor wedding performances are something we’re always happy to consider, provided the conditions are right on the day. For East Midlands weddings, we’d always suggest having a gazebo or covered area on standby if the weather looks uncertain, keeping both the performance and equipment sheltered and protected. Beyond that, a decent space to set up and access to nearby power sockets for the sound equipment is all we need.
Do you bring your own equipment and does it require any special electrics?
Yes. We bring a professional sound setup built for wedding environments, and we’ll be upfront about exactly what we need from your East Midlands venue so nothing catches you off guard. All equipment is supplied by us, fully insured and PAT tested without exception. The majority of venues simply need standard power, and some will request our insurance certificate once the booking is confirmed. We’re happy to deal with the venue directly on that or pass the documents to you to handle.
What’s the minimum and maximum time we can hire you for?
Bookings run as either 2 x 45-minute sets or 2 x 60-minute sets, with daytime and evening packages available depending on what your day calls for. If you’d like background DJ-style music covered between sets and once we’ve wrapped up, that’s something we can easily factor in.
How would you describe your wedding singing style?
The set covers a broad range of styles and eras, with songs that genuinely land across every generation in the room. East Midlands wedding guests tend to span the full age range, so we take our cues from the crowd, keeping things easy and warm to begin with, before building the energy as the evening gets going and the celebrating properly starts.
Can you learn our first dance or ceremony song?
In many cases, yes. Given reasonable notice, I can learn a song that holds real meaning for you and translates well as a live acoustic wedding performance. If the track you have in mind works better in its original form, I’ll be straight with you and offer a considered alternative that still captures the feeling of the moment.

Absolutely. Book us for your evening wedding entertainment, and your first dance and/or father-daughter dance is something we can take care of. Share the songs that mean something to you and the mood you’re after, and we’ll work with you to find the right fit for the moment that translates into something truly special when performed live.
What information do you need from us, and how does everything work on the day?
When you get in touch, we’ll need your wedding date, venue and the parts of the day you’d like covered (ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening). From there, we’ll check availability, walk you through the options and pricing, and once everything suits you, the booking can be secured. Written confirmation follows, so you have a clear record of exactly what’s been agreed.
In the lead-up to the wedding, we’ll nail down the running order, set-up needs and any details specific to your venue. If you’d prefer a conversation rather than emails, we’re happy to jump on a call and talk through timings, equipment, set-up and any requests you have in mind.
On the day itself, we arrive and set up our own professional sound equipment. Everything is fully insured and PAT tested. If your venue requests proof of insurance, we can send that directly to them or via you, whichever is easier. A suitable space to set up and access to power is generally all we require. Any sound restrictions or venue rules, just flag them beforehand, and we’ll work around them.
Outdoor wedding performances are usually straightforward, provided the equipment is sheltered from rain and wind, and there’s a reliable power source nearby. We’ll sort the practicalities with you and the venue well in advance.
Weddings don’t always stick to the clock, so if speeches overrun or timings move around on the day, we’ll adapt accordingly and keep everything running smoothly.
