We booked Dan and his band for our wedding in August, and we are so glad we did! They were all amazing and kept the party going all night. Dan performed an acoustic set after the wedding breakfast whilst the band were setting up, and it was the perfect way to transition guests from evening to night. Dan and his band also learnt our first dance song, and lots of other requests sent through ahead of the day. Communication was brilliant! The set list was great, but they also listened to requests and engaged with the audience, letting us have a go on the mic. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Can we hear you before booking?
Yes. The videos on the site are the best place to start, as they give you a clear feel for how it comes across on a real wedding day. If you’re planning a wedding in Cumbria and have any questions after watching, just send over your date and venue, and I’ll help you decide what will suit it best.
How far in advance should we book?
If live music at your wedding is an important part of your plans, it’s always worth booking as early as possible. Popular Cumbria wedding dates can be taken well in advance, especially during the busiest parts of the season. If your date is coming up sooner, it’s still well worth getting in touch, as I may still have availability.
Can you perform outside as my acoustic wedding singer?
We’re very happy to perform outdoors, provided the weather is suitable on the day. For Cumbria weddings, it’s always sensible to have a sheltered option or gazebo available if the forecast looks mixed, so the performance and equipment stay protected. We’ll also need enough space to set up properly, along with access to nearby power for the sound equipment.
Do you bring your own equipment and does it require any special electrics?
Yes. We provide a professional sound setup that works well for weddings, and we’ll let you know exactly what’s needed from your Cumbria venue in advance. We can supply everything required for the performance, and all equipment is fully insured and PAT tested. Most venues simply need standard power, and some may ask for our insurance documents once you’re booked in. We’re always happy to deal with the venue directly or send everything over for you to pass on.
What’s the minimum and maximum time we can hire you for?
You can book us for 2 x 45-minute sets or 2 x 60-minute sets, depending on what works best for your Cumbria wedding. We can also put together daytime and evening options to suit the parts of the day you’d like covered. If you want music between live sets and after the performance ends, we can include that as part of the package, too.

After your enquiry, we’ll ask for the key details such as your wedding date, venue and which parts of the day you’d like us to cover, whether that’s the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or evening celebration. From there, we’ll let you know if your Cumbria date is available, talk you through the most suitable options and send over clear pricing. Once you’re ready to go ahead, the booking can be secured, and you’ll receive written confirmation so everything is clearly set out from the start.
In the lead-up to the wedding, we’ll go over the outline for the day, any setup needs and anything specific your venue has asked for. If you’d feel more comfortable talking it through properly, we’re always happy to arrange a call and cover timings, logistics, equipment and any personal touches you want included.
On the day itself, we bring and set up all of our own professional sound equipment. Everything is insured and PAT tested, and if your venue wants copies of the paperwork, we can send these directly or pass them on for you to forward. In most cases, all that’s needed is enough room to perform comfortably and access to a standard power supply. If your Cumbria venue has any sound limits or access requirements, just let us know beforehand, and we’ll plan around them.
Outdoor wedding performances can work really well too, provided the area is properly sheltered from rain, wind and any conditions that could affect the equipment or performance. We’ll make sure the practical side is discussed in advance with you and the venue team.
