Ed Sheeran Tribute

Established in 2015, Daniel was one of the first acts in the UK to take on the role of being an Ed Sheeran Tribute act. Since then the show has grown and performed all over the UK as well as stints in France, Germany, Lithuania, Canada, Spain, Ireland and many more.

In 2017 Daniel was invited to perform his show on the P&O cruise ships and since then has been invited back multiple times as well as accepting contracts on Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Cruises.

Have you ever met Ed Sheeran?

I haven’t, of course i’d like to but one day i feel he will turn up at a show and surprise me. that’s the type of guy he is.

How long have you been doing the Ed Sheeran tribute?

I started the tribute in 2015.

Why Ed Sheeran?

Whilst I was doing the pub circuit I found a lot of people requesting Ed Sheeran songs. People also commented on the similarity between Eds voice and mine.

How long did it take you to learn the loop pedal?

I first witnessed Ed Sheeran use the loop pedal at the Brit Awards in 2015 when he did a show-stopping performance of bloodstream. up until then I didn’t know what a loop pedal was so I decided to purchase one and I took to it very fast.

How long does it take to learn an ed sheeran song?

It usually take around 10-14 days for a standard song. I’m sure you’re aware he does a few raps so they can take 2-4 months to bed in the system.

What is your favourite Ed Sheeran song to perform?

I look performing Castle on The Hill – it’s a great opening song to the set as it’s such a feel good, well known, song. ‘Bloodstream’ and ‘I’m a Mess’ are also my favourites on the loop pedal as they both build and build towards the end. Overpass Graffiti and Celestial are songs i love performing with the band.
